Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance (avidya).
It’s about igniting the light of wisdom within yourself, facing the darkness, releasing any incorrect knowledge, overcoming old patterns, old conditioning and allowing that light to shine through.
But where to start?
How can you add your light to the world right now?
Before Diwali, all houses are cleaned from top to bottom. No stone is left unturned. They are being prepared to welcome Lakshmi, the Goddess of Abundance. In the same way, you can de-clutter your mind through meditation, creating that much needed space for inspiration, creativity to arise – allowing that flow to flow through you.
Take a moment now. Come to stillness and just breathe.
