About Me

Aditi began her journey with Sattva Yoga in 2012 while seeking a deeper connection to the yogic path. What started as a physical practice soon became a profound journey of self-discovery that has anchored her life for over a decade.

Alongside her yoga practice, Aditi has worked as a midwife for more than 25 years, supporting women through the sacred transition into motherhood. As the lead teacher for Sattva Prenatal Yoga, she brings together her two greatest passions: guiding women during pregnancy and sharing the integrative practices of Sattva Yoga.

In her classes, Aditi invites students to connect with their inner energy and discover their innate strength. Whether supporting the journey into motherhood or offering practices for deeper transformation, her intention is that students leave feeling connected, resilient, and radiant.

When she is not teaching or practicing, Aditi enjoys hiking in the mountains, cultivating flower gardens, and traveling the world.

A Little More About Me

What yoga means to me today

To me, Sattva Yoga is a technology for evolution and a practice of conscious presence. Just as in birth, yoga teaches us how to breathe through intensity, find strength in softness, and trust the wisdom of our own bodies. It is the anchor that supports me to move through life with a clear mind and open heart.

The practice I return to again and again

The practice I return to again and again is Sattva Kriya. These dynamic techniques are my go-to for shifting energy and clearing the mind. Whenever I feel stuck or out of alignment, Kriya serves as a powerful reset, allowing me to tap back into my internal radiance and move forward with renewed presence.

What I am currently learning on my path

After over a decade with Sattva Yoga, I am learning that the deepest transformations happen in the subtle layers of stillness between the movements. While the Kriyas and postures are powerful, I am currently exploring how to rest in that quiet space where true evolution takes root—reminding me that even in the most intense transitions of life, there is a sacred stillness we can always return to.

A mantra or truth I live by

A mantra or truth I live by is the Gayatri Mantra. To me, it is the ultimate mantra for illumination - a daily call to the divine light to awaken our intelligence and guide our path. In both my yoga practice and my mentoring of pregnant mothers, it serves as a constant reminder to stay connected to that source of universal light, ensuring that every action and every breath is infused with clarity and grace.

A teaching that continues to guide me

A teaching that remains at the heart of my life is that we are already whole. I am consistently reminded that we aren't here to fix ourselves or become something new, but to remove the layers of conditioning that hide our true nature. This teaching reminds me to approach every student and every mother not as someone in need of help but as a powerful, evolutionary being returning to her own innate wisdom and radiance.

What I hope students experience in my class

My deepest hope is that students experience a profound homecoming to their own power. I want you to feel the shift from the noise of the external world into the vast, luminous space of your own internal energy. Whether you are preparing for birth or navigating a life transition, I hope you leave the session feeling deeply held, mentally clear, and vibrantly alive—carrying the resilience we cultivate in practice back into every area of your life.
